Successful completion of remediation works at The Roundway, Haringey, London

Lawtech have recently successfully completed the cladding remediation works at The Roundway in Haringey, London. This high-rise block stands at 7 storeys at its highest. Primarily residential, there is a commercial unit occupied by a betting shop on the ground floor, which had to be considered with regard to access.   

We worked closely with Clarion Housing Group and Martin Arnold Ltd, ensuring thorough communication and that all aspects of the contract were successfully completed.     

The works involved the replacement of combustible cladding materials with non-combustible alternatives. Terracotta tiles had to be removed to allow remedial works to take place and were reinstated where possible. The tiles that were replaced were manufactured by Argeton USA. Further works involved the replacement of existing timber cladding with Cedral Click (Marley), and timber balcony decking was replaced with AliDeck.  

We liaised with the residents and commercial occupier throughout the works to keep disruption and inconvenience to a minimum. Our Resident Liaison Officer received many compliments for her wonderful service throughout.
