We undertook the external refurbishment of over 100 properties in 9 weeks, averaging c.12 properties per week on this borough wide project. Through engaging with Ealing Council we expanded the scope of works to include the rear of the properties for better energy efficiency and cost savings. Initial surveys discovered asbestos in the property porches requiring this to be addressed to maintain the critical path.

Working on a street by street basis we programmed and managed the works to maximise efficiencies, resulting in successful completion.

Using a mobile site office/welfare unit to organise works conducted from scaffold towers and ladders, we were able to create a mobile workforce that minimised disruption to residents and maximised overall satisfaction. Our team founded a nearby ‘staging post’ to coordinate deliveries to site on a ‘just in time’ basis ensuring residents were able to continue their daily lives unaffected.

Working with residents in advance of the main programme we identified their colour choices for walls and doorsteps. Through providing the 6 week notice period to residents we were further able to identify additional requirements and undertook landscaping works to help the elderly residents.
