Employment & Apprenticeships
Lawtech is committed to:
- creating local employment and tackling worklessness in the communities we work amongst - encouraging individuals to change their outlook and change their lives
- supporting regional economies by engaging local SMEs for 80% of the works to be subcontracted on each of our projects
Every major project creates local employment opportunities, from entry-level labour and administrators to skilled operatives and project managers. We recruit local people through online advertising with universal access and via specialist schemes that assist individuals with physical or social disadvantages and NEETS (young people Not in Education Employment or Training).
Apprentices benefit from our TrAC (Training and Apprenticeships in Construction) schemes which we promote through our supply chain/SME partners. TrAC gives apprentices the flexibility to move from scheme to scheme without detriment to the overall trajectory of their training.
The jobs, apprenticeships and supply chain business generated locally by Lawtech’s projects create career opportunities that extend far beyond our contract period.
